The Andalusian hang glider guide includes in total description of 25 stations in five provinces of the region. The greatest number of stations located in Malaga. These are Álora, Casarabonela, Ronda la Vieja, Teba, Calaceite-Torrox, Valle de Abdalajís and Villanueva del Trabuco.
The new guide includes 253 pages. It was published by the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport of Andalusia, reports euroweeklynews.
Spain and Andalusia in particular are major centers for hang gliding and paragliding in Europe. Many international competitions are held here every year. In general these stations offer full range of sports services, which in Spain are called Vuelo Libre (Free Flight). It also includes paragliding, parachuting and other aerial sports, which are now considered to be extreme.
One of the most scenic places for paragliding and other Vuelo Libre in Andalusia is Ronda. This historic Spanish city is now one of the most famous sights of Andalusia. The city is famous due to the unique combination of natural landscape and architecture. Several Ronda districts are located on the edge of the picturesque Tahoe de Ronda Valley.
Another hang-gliding center is Alora in the south of Andalusia. Surrounded by the hills Alora is perfect for free flight. In addition, Alora is famous by its numerous festivals, including Flamenco Festival and the Virgen de Flores festival devoted to the patron saint of the city.
