Posadilla Between Routes and Local History

At the 11th edition of the live presentation of the Museo Etnográfico de Costumbres Populares in Posadilla, the indoor and outdoor areas were brought to life on 15 June by 80 performers. The performers recreated the daily work of their ancestors and occupations that have largely disappeared. The presentation also included scenes depicting the production of morcillas and chorizos. This provides specific museum themes for planning a visit, based both on the displayed objects and on the work processes portrayed.

Romería and Ferias y Fiestas

The Romería in honour of the Virgen de Fátima takes place jointly with Navalcuervo. It includes an outdoor Mass as well as a shared day in the countryside with food and drinks. Posadilla’s Ferias y Fiestas are held from 29 June to 1 July in honour of the patron saint, with three days of dancing and sports competitions. Both events represent different forms of public life in the town: the Romería connects Posadilla with Navalcuervo, while the Ferias y Fiestas comprise three days of festivities with dancing and sporting competitions. Waterwheel, Church and Routes
