El Paraiso: Golf, Pádel and Nature between La Concha and the Mediterranean
Landscape
Between La Concha and the Mediterranean, the 18 holes of El Paraíso Golf Club run through the Valle del Paraíso. The club was designed by Gary Player in 1973.
The fairways are wide and easy to walk. Palms, pine trees, oleanders and olive trees line the fairways. Winding streams and two lakes are also found on the course.
El Paraíso Golf Club is a habitat for numerous wildlife species. Ducks and swans, as well as turtles and carp, live in the lakes. Among others, these animals, hoopoes and sparrows may be seen on the course.
The landscape features are closely connected spatially with the fairways: the fairways lined with various Mediterranean plants are complemented by streams and lakes. Both vegetated edges of the fairways and open water areas therefore form part of the described terrain.
Sports
If you are looking for Pádel with qualified guidance, RozaRossa has two professional Pádel courts and qualified Pádel coaches. At RozaRossa, courts can be reserved, coaching sessions booked and groups joined.
For tennis, RozaRossa has nine tennis courts and tennis coaches. In El Paraíso, the municipal sports schools of Estepona offer nine golf groups.
Several specific sports options are therefore identified in El Paraíso: golf at El Paraíso Golf Club, Pádel and tennis at RozaRossa, and the nine golf groups of the municipal sports schools of Estepona. At RozaRossa, courts and coaching options are combined with the opportunity to join groups.
Dining
If you would like to eat at the golf club, the restaurant at El Paraíso Golf Club is open to members, green-fee players and the general public.
The clubhouse of El Paraíso Golf Club includes a pro shop, a restaurant and changing facilities.
At El Paraíso Restaurante & Country Club, you can dine in surroundings featuring extensive gardens, a swimming pool and terraces. These surroundings explicitly include the gardens, pool and terraces as named areas.
Two different places with specific details are therefore named for dining: the restaurant at the golf club and El Paraíso Restaurante & Country Club. At the latter, extensive gardens, a swimming pool and terraces are explicitly part of the described surroundings.
Hiking
If you are planning a hike, the route “Playa del Sol Villacana y Playa Del Saladillo desde El Paraíso” is a clearly named circular route.
The route is 6.59 km long and has 16 m of ascent. Its technical difficulty is moderate.
The route name connects the named beaches Playa del Sol Villacana and Playa Del Saladillo with El Paraíso and also identifies it as a circular route. The length, ascent and technical difficulty describe the route with three specific details.
