The San Isidro Labrador patron saint’s festival is celebrated in San José de Malcocinado from Friday to Sunday; the main pilgrimage takes place on Sunday morning.

The festival begins with a lunch for older people at the Caseta Municipal and also includes an amusement park.

The schedule therefore runs from the opening on Friday to the main pilgrimage on Sunday morning, while the lunch at the Caseta Municipal marks the beginning of the festival.

For Carnival 2026, a children’s parade through the streets of the San José de Malcocinado–Badalejos district was planned.

For the same Carnival, a Carnival procession was planned from 1:30 p.m. at Plaza del Junco in San José de Malcocinado–Badalejos.

For Carnival 2026, performances by Carnival groups were planned, as well as a performance at 5 p.m. by the Cádiz chirigota “Piensa mal y acertarás” (Los desconfiados) by Los Villegas in San José de Malcocinado–Badalejos.

The Carnival events were therefore announced for the same location and the year 2026, but with different programme items and times: procession from 1:30 p.m. and chirigota performance at 5 p.m.

The Semana Cultural de San José de Malcocinado, organised by the Asociación de Vecinos El Pinar, was planned for the period from 27 July to 2 August 2026.
