Churriana de la Vega combines Arab traces, ecclesiastical architectural history, an open-air museum and a cycling route. Specific points of interest include the Baños Árabes de Churriana de la Vega, the Iglesia de la Visitación de la Virgen and the „Kilómetro del Arte“. The Baños Árabes de Churriana de la Vega are protected as a Monumento and as a Bien de Interés Cultural. Together with the Acequia Arabuleila and the bridge that crosses it, they are the only surviving elements of Muslim origin from the former Alquería Yurliyana.

The Iglesia de la Visitación de la Virgen was built around the year 1500. For visitors, it is designated as one of Churriana's emblematic historic elements. According to researchers, it stands on the site of an earlier mosque. This building therefore brings together the Christian construction of around the year 1500 and an older site history identified by researchers. Surviving Sites and Art in the Open Air

The antiguo lavadero de Churriana de la Vega is also one of the town's historic traces: it was formerly used extensively by the women of the town. Another chronological marker is the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza, which dates from the 17th century. The Camarín of the Ermita de Churriana de la Vega contains a total of sixteen paintings, arranged in the dome and the lantern. The Ermita thus combines a clearly dated architectural history with a precisely described arrangement of paintings in two architectural areas.

The „Kilómetro del Arte“ adds a contemporary artistic dimension. The open-air museum began in 1999 with a sculpture honoring the bullfighter Frascuelo. It was subsequently expanded with further works dedicated to important themes for Churriana de la Vega. The „Kilómetro del Arte“ has established itself as a space of significant contemporary artistic interest. Its starting point, the dedication to Frascuelo and the thematic works added later give the site a comprehensible development.

Cycling Route with a Fixed Stage Length

The Ruta Radial de Churriana de la Vega represents active local planning. It is 14,187.02 meters long and is one of the seven cycling routes covering the municipalities involved in the Metropolitano Suroeste de Granada strategy. The route length of 14,187.02 meters serves as a fixed scale for stage planning. At the same time, its membership among the seven cycling routes places the Ruta Radial within an intermunicipal strategic framework.
