Culture

The Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol has been classified as a Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) since 2007. The Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol de las Españas combines Mudéjar and Baroque elements. Its façade and tower date from the 18th century. The church preserves a wooden Mudéjar-style ceiling. Baroque grilles are located in the ambulatory. These grilles bear the year 1778. The Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol also preserves an 18th-century baptistery chapel.

At the ermita, the 1927 building and the ceramic dado from the middle of the 20th century stand side by side. The nature park adds a landscape featuring holm oaks, cork oaks and various public facilities to the history of the town. The route passes through the three named municipalities and combines cycling, hiking, birdwatching and observing nature on a moderately difficult 49.6-kilometre route.
