Playa Las Chapas (Elviria) has soft sand. It is suitable for walking barefoot. The beach is easy to reach on foot. It can also be reached by car.

Activities

Aventura Amazonia, an adventure park with zip lines and suspension bridges, is located in Elviria. The park's address is C/ Valeriano Rodríguez 2, 29603 Elviria – Marbella. Aventura Amazonia Marbella has 103 challenges and 24 zip lines. The challenges and zip lines are spread across six adventure courses. These are named MiniKids, Kids, Explorer, Jungle, Adventure and Sports. The facility also includes three beginner courses. One admission ticket allows three hours of use of the multi-adventure courses.

The facility therefore combines zip lines and suspension bridges with six differently named adventure courses. In addition to MiniKids, Kids, Explorer, Jungle, Adventure and Sports, three beginner courses are listed separately. A usage period of three hours is specified for the multi-adventure courses.

Golf

Greenlife Golf is located in Elviria Hills. The facility is a 9-hole par-3 golf course. The course is 1,142 metres long. Water comes into play on holes 1, 2, 5 and 9. Lush vegetation with palm trees and oaks characterises the course.

Santa Maria Golf & Country Club welcomes members to its facilities. Visitors are welcome there as well. In Elviria, the club has an 18-hole course. The course offers views of the Mediterranean Sea. The clubhouse is an impressive 19th-century cortijo. Its architecture is distinctly Andalusian. The clubhouse is surrounded by extensive gardens.

Elviria therefore has two golf facilities described differently: Greenlife Golf, with nine holes, a par-3 format and a length of 1,142 metres, and Santa Maria Golf & Country Club, with 18 holes. Culture

Phillippe Hiquily (1925–2013) created Girouette in 1963. Girouette is an approximately 12-metre-high steel sculpture ensemble. The ensemble consists of three movable parts. It stands at the entrance to Elviria.

The Torre Lance de las Cañas was built in the second half of the 18th century. It emerged from the development of watchtowers and the coastal defence system. The Torre Lance de las Cañas is the only tower of its kind in Marbella. Its floor plan resembles a horseshoe.

Girouette brings a dated work of modern sculpture to the entrance of Elviria: Phillippe Hiquily created the approximately 12-metre-high ensemble in 1963 from three movable steel parts. The Torre Lance de las Cañas, by contrast, points to the second half of the 18th century, watchtowers and coastal defence. Its horseshoe-like floor plan is one of the stated features of the only tower of its kind in Marbella.
