Water and Beach

The Puerto Banús marina has 915 berths. From Puerto Banús, you can charter yachts and sailboats. Charters are available with or without a skipper. In Puerto Banús in Marbella, luxury yachts can be chartered for periods of two, four or eight hours. On the Costa del Sol, you can rent sailboats for one or more days. Catamarans are also available in Puerto Banús for a rental period of one or more days.

The maritime offering combines the established marina setting with various time models. A short trip on a luxury yacht is available alongside multi-day rentals of sailboats or catamarans; the option of choosing whether or not to have a skipper is also expressly provided.

At Puerto Banús–Levante Beach, assisted sea bathing with amphibious chairs is offered; prior reservation is required for this. Banús Beach has sun loungers. They are located directly on the beach. The beach offers views of Marbella and La Concha mountain. The Banús Beach beach club experience includes food and music. A selected cocktail menu is also part of this experience.

At Levante Beach, prior reservation is an integral part of assisted bathing. Banús Beach, meanwhile, offers sun loungers on the beach, views of Marbella and La Concha, as well as a beach club offering that brings together food, music and cocktails.

Cívitas Puerto Banús has more than 100 luxury boutiques. The large number of boutiques is associated with the designation “luxury”.

The more than 100 luxury boutiques add a clearly designated shopping area to this waterfront setting. This means that the marina, beach, dining and retail are all located side by side in the same place.

Other destinations in the area include Artola, San Pedro De Alcántara, Elviria, Las Chapas and Urbanización Nueva Andalucía.

Events

Marbella Arena is an auditorium. At the same time, it is a multipurpose venue in Puerto Banús. Its programme runs throughout the year. It includes concerts, theatre, monologues and sporting events, among other things.

The year-round Marbella Arena expands the events offering with a range of formats. Concerts and theatre take place alongside monologues and sporting events; the tourism office’s virtual assistant adds personalised tours in many languages to the offering.

The Puerto Banús Tourist Office offers a multilingual virtual assistant. This assistant enables personalised tours. The tours are offered in up to 95 languages.

History and Townscape

Puerto Banús was inaugurated in 1970. More than 1,500 guests attended the inauguration. It was founded based on the concept of a Mediterranean village in the Andalusian style.

The history remains present in the townscape: the inauguration in 1970 and the concept of the Mediterranean Andalusian village are part of its founding history. The Torre del Duque adds a restored watchtower from the Nasrid defensive system.

The Torre del Duque is located next to the main entrance to Puerto Banús. The structure was recently restored. The Torre del Duque is a watchtower belonging to the Nasrid defensive system. This system dates from the 13th to the 15th century.
