Culture and Annual Cycle

In Lojilla, Los Tontos de Lojilla is part of the Fiesta de San Sebastián, an item of Andalusia’s intangible cultural heritage. The San Sebastián festival takes place in Lojilla around January 20. One trail is designated Route 19 Priego (Cortijo Malagón, Fuente Grande, Lojilla). This route ends at the Ermita de San Sebastián in Lojilla. Route 19 Priego is classified as easy. Along its course, it passes through the Sierra de las Berrugillas. Extensive Mediterranean woodland areas stretch across the region. The highest point of the Sierra is at 1,133 meters. Trails for Active Days

The Arroyo de Granada Trail uses old paths. These paths connect Almedinilla with Fuente Grande, Venta Valero, and Lojilla. The trail is 12 kilometers long in total. Approximately three hours of walking time are indicated for the Arroyo de Granada Trail. Almedinilla, Fuente Grande, Venta Valero, and Lojilla appear on this trail as interconnected places.
