La Carrasca: Festivals, Castles and Mountains
Active Routes
La Carrasca is the starting point of the 11.6 km Piedras Cobo–Minas–Alamillo hiking route, which leads uphill along agricultural tracks to the Las Piedras Cobo archaeological site. Its length is 11.6 km.
The long Sierra Sur de Jaén road cycling route runs from Martos through La Carrasca to Las Casillas. On the section from La Carrasca to Las Casillas, you can see the VÃboras Reservoir and Castillo del VÃboras.
Festivals and Community
The Fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Rosario take place in La Carrasca in August. They combine social and religious events.
