Coastal Paths

Anyone wishing to use a coastal route on foot, by running or by bicycle can plan to follow the more than 20-kilometre-long Senda Litoral de Estepona to El Saladillo. The Senda Litoral is mostly flat.

The stated ways of using the Senda Litoral are therefore walking, running and cycling. The route extends to El Saladillo, is more than 20 kilometres long and is mostly flat. Anyone including the entire route in their plans should take this length into account as an extensive coastal route.

Stage 30 of the GR-249 Gran Senda de Málaga runs from Estepona to Marbella and is 27.1 kilometres long. A walking time of seven hours is given for this stage. The GR-249 guide lists Dunas del Saladillo y Matas Verdes as waypoint 8.
