Sea and Coast

In Torremolinos, the Senda Litoral runs along the sea and stretches for just over six kilometres. As a coastal route, it connects the town’s six beaches. The sixth stage of the Senda Litoral also passes through Torremolinos.

An extension of the promenade makes it possible to walk along the sea at El Morro. There, visitors can enjoy a route beside the Mediterranean. Water sports such as jet skiing, pedal boats and jet boats are available at Los Álamos Beach.

El Morro is a natural monument and forms the natural boundary between La Carihuela and Bajondillo.

Hiking and Nature

CxM Trail A01 Torremolinos is the first centre certified by FEDME. It offers marked routes classified by difficulty level. The PR-A 172 Puertos de Torremolinos is an almost circular hiking trail through the Montes de Torremolinos. It is 9.9 kilometres long.

The markings and classification by difficulty level give the routes a recognisable structure. In the case of the PR-A 172, the almost circular route is an additional defining feature; its length of 9.9 kilometres explicitly states the extent of this trail.

La Cañada del Lobo has a network of paths through a dense Mediterranean pine forest. The forest is interspersed with holm oaks, cork oaks, wild olive trees and dwarf palms. The network of paths leads to viewpoints offering panoramic views over the Costa del Sol.

The landscape of La Cañada del Lobo therefore brings together a dense pine forest, other Mediterranean tree and plant species, and viewpoints. The plants mentioned collectively shape the forest, while the network of paths provides the link to the panoramic views over the Costa del Sol.

Aqualand Torremolinos features the attraction categories “Adrenaline Fun”, “Kidzworld”, “Family Fun” and “Chill Out & Play”. Aqualand Torremolinos can be reached by bus from Málaga, Benalmádena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. The buses stop at Noche y Día or in the centre of Torremolinos.

The four names used by Aqualand Torremolinos range from “Adrenaline Fun” through “Kidzworld” and “Family Fun” to “Chill Out & Play”. In addition to these categories, the bus connections are also described, including their departure locations and the two stops mentioned.

Crocodile Park offers crocodile shows all year round.

Culture and History

Torre Pimentel is a twelve-metre-high rammed-earth tower. Its architectural form includes a solid base, two floors, windows and a large terrace.

Around 1300, Torre Pimentel was built as part of the coastal defence network developed by the Nasrids.

Casa de los Navajas was built in 1925 and belonged to the Luque-Navajas family. It hosts various exhibitions, concerts and theatre performances.

Torre Pimentel thus combines a clearly described external form with its place in coastal defence around 1300. Casa de los Navajas complements this historical area with its construction date, its connection to the Luque-Navajas family and the cultural events mentioned there.
