Vejer de la Frontera: Castle, Museums and Trails
Vejer de la Frontera was declared a historic-artistic site in 1976. The old walled complex dates from the 15th century. Its area covers slightly more than four hectares. It includes four named gateways: the Arco de la Segur, the Arco de la Villa, the Arco de Sancho IV and the Arco de Puerta Cerrada. The castle of Vejer dates from the 10th and 11th centuries. It stands at the highest point of the town, from whose battlements there is a view across the entire town.

Culture
The Municipal Museum of Customs and Traditions of Vejer displays tools and artefacts. The exhibits come from agriculture and other traditional occupations.
