Nature and Open Spaces

Parque de la Corchuela is an 84-hectare nature park. It includes a hundred-year-old pine forest. The forest provides plenty of shade. The site has sports fields and a diverse range of wildlife. The park can be reached via the road from Dos Hermanas to Isla Menor, near the Isla industrial area.

Parque de la Alquería del Pilar, a park, is located in the vicinity of Dos Hermanas. It comprises more than 13 hectares of gardens. These include numerous tree species of botanical interest and considerable age. Their arrangement is attributed to the French landscape architect Forestier. The park offers opportunities for observing birds and fish. There is also a children's play area, sports courses and sports fields. The auditorium hosts major events.

Culture and Routes

Plaza del Arenal is a transport hub. It is home to a railway station built in 1917 in the Neo-Mudéjar style. History and Festive Traditions

The town's oldest temple is dedicated to Saint Anne. It is built in the Mudéjar style. Its Baroque altarpiece from the 17th century contains a Gothic sculpture of Saint Anne.

The Romería de Valme takes place on the third Sunday of every October. During the pilgrimage, the image is taken from the parish church of Santa María Magdalena to the Ermita del Cortijo del Cuarto. Since 1976, the Romería de Valme has been recognised as a festival of national tourist interest.

Remains are located at the highest point of the Orippo archaeological zone. The archaeological area of Orippo contains the remains of a military bastion. This bastion was remodelled during the Arab period and in later periods.
